PART B: THEORETICAL TRAINING- MANAGEMENT LEVEL – PHASE II

Contact hours: 21 hours

1. Emergency Towing Arrangement.=1 hour

2. Intact Stability Code 2008, Wind and Weather Heeling criteria, Synchronous and Parametric rolling and precautions. =2 hours

3. Wreck removal convention =1 hour

4. Recycling Convention=1 hour

5. Carriage of Goods by Sea - Rotterdam Rules =2 hours

6. Annex VI, Low Sulphur fuel, Volatile Organic Compounds, Green House Gases, Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC), Carbon Credits, and Climate Change =2 hours

7. Refresher Training in Medical Care as per MLC requirements= 3 hours

8. Casualty Investigation Code = 1 hour

9. Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) – 2006 (Documentary evidence of having undergone the training as required under MLC 2006) = 6 hours

Total 19 hours

Assessment for management level phase II personnel Assessor 2 hours
